Austrian State Printing House (OeSD) has been awarded with a contract for the production of the new laissez-passer travel documents. In order to deliver the electronic travel documents in compliance with the latest security and technology standards the premium solution supplier will collaborate with X INFOTECH, one of the leading system integrators and software developers. The laissez-passer will be embedded with several security features based on electronic chip technology and personalization.
X INFOTECH possesses extensive experience and has earned a credible reputation for the successful deployment of electronic identity documents. Therefore X INFOTECH was invited to partner up and deploy a secure and versatile personalization solution along with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) in different sites at the same time. The turnkey solution will enable the laissez – passer holders to issue and validate electronic documents, thus increasing the speed of communications along with accessibility.
