Secure Identification Conference – Where Governments meet Vendors

May 2019 in Riga was marked by the SECURE IDENTIFICATION Conference that brought together suppliers of industry and governments to explore new solutions and to discuss openly the most critical issues of secure identification and document fraud prevention for a safer and more innovative world.

More than 230 participants from more than 27 countries representing more than 35 industry providers had an opportunity to explore 10 country implementation cases and 10 industry innovation cases together with the speakers of the Conference.

Fifty percent of the Conference participation was made up from state officials.  It was our (x Infotech’s) honour to host the Minister for the Interior of the Republic of Latvia – Mr. Sandis Girgens, Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia,  Ms. Zanda Kalnina-Lukasevica, Chairman of State Migration Service of Ukraine, Deputy Head of State Border Guard of Ukraine, Head of Migration Service of Latvia, Head of State Assistance Center of Uzbekistan, Head of State Corporation GOV4Citizens of Kazakhstan, Head of National Digital Authority of Estonia,  representatives of UNDP, FRONTEX and eu-LISA, and other ranked delegates!

The two-days event was brightened by an exquisite Gala dinner with well-designed programme and enough space for informal networking.

For many years SECURE IDENTIFICATION has been a famous club-format event  for national decision-makers to personally meet industry vendors.  The 10th edition of SECURE IDENTIFICATION 2020 will take place in Riga very soon and promises to be legendary!
