In November 2011, the representatives of the EDAPS Consortium (Kyiv, Ukraine) visited India with an official delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine headed by its Minister Kostyantyn Hryschenko.In New Delhi, the official delegation of MFA of Ukraine hold the joint meeting with Anand Sharma, Minister of Commerce and Industry of India, and honorable consuls of Ukraine in the city of Mumbai (India), Sri Lanka, Bangladesh.
The Ukraine party presented the cutting edge technologies of the EDAPS Consortium on manufacture of electronic identification documents (passports, globally verifiable migration and social cards, etc.), as well as anti-counterfeiting technologies for banknotes. The negotiations with representatives of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Indian large-scale industrial companies were held at the greeting organized by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of India Oleksandr Shevchenko in honor of the visit of Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Kostyantyn Hryschenko. Within the framework of this visit the EDAPS Consortium and HOLOSTIK India Ltd. announced the establishment of a joint venture – NEW SOVEREIGN VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED (NSV PL).
NEW SOVEREIGN VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED has been registered to implement projects involving introduction of modern identification documents in India. Industrial facility for production of electronic globally verifiable migration and social cards and implementation of other projects will be created on the basis of the Ukrainian technologies. The infrastructure for automated information and document management system has been already developed.
The alliance of two leading companies engaged in the field of high-security printing will allow issuance of the most reliable and highly secure documents and holographic security elements, as well as to create state-of-the-art ID information systems in Asia.
