The Identive Group announced the launch of AskIdentive.com, an online interactive resource for information about the latest technologies, trends and issues in Secure ID.
AskIdentive.com congregates the wealth of industry expertise of the Identive team into a central resource that offers valuable information and insights into the security and radio frequency identification (RFID) industries. The site’s panel of contributors addresses key technologies, applications, markets and emerging themes from across the Secure ID spectrum, including identity management, physical and logical access control, smart cards, RFID, near field communication (NFC), mobile payments and Software as a Service (SaaS).
“As new applications increasingly blur the lines between the physical and digital world, it can be difficult to stay abreast of the technologies and trends that are relevant to our work, security and everyday lives. We have set out to provide helpful information about these trends with a simple click of the mouse,” explains Arthur Beavis, Social Media & Marketing Manager for Identive. “AskIdentive is a central, easy to use portal for our customers, partners and anyone who wants to know more about the issues impacting everything from physical access systems to digital wallets. AskIdentive is an important addition to our ongoing social media initiatives.”
AskIdentive features a number of interactive components, including weekly blog entries, news articles, Identive’s “ID TV” webinar series, multimedia demonstrations and tutorials, external links, support, and most notably, the “Ask Identive” feature. This unique option allows visitors to the site to pose questions to our field of Secure ID experts, who will draw on Identive’s collective expertise to provide responses in blog format.
