CES 2012: All-in-one display credit cards feat. touch keypads and LCD

NagraID Security, a subsidiary of the Kudelski Group presents their revolutionary display cards that enable cardholders to use the same device for payment, physical access ando to secure their online accounts and transactions for card not present environments.

The MasterCard and Visa EU certified display cards by NIDS are the exact size of normal credit cards with an additional LCD and an optional 12-buttona touch sensitive keypad. The integrated flexible LCD can display one-time-passwords, personalized messages or other critical information; custom firmware loading capability combined with the smartphone like keypad enables advanced applications such as card PIN protection, challenge/response and transaction signing. Cardholders can use the same card for standard banking payment functionality, physical access, and to generate one-time passcodes (OTP’s).
