SPEAKERS

Maurizio Skerlj is the Vice President and Product Line Head of Identity Solutions within the Connected Security Solutions Division at Infineon Technologies. Prior to joining Infineon, Maurizio held several engineering and leadership positions at Alcatel, Qimonda and Texas Instruments. Maurizio is member of the Board of directors of NFC Forum and also served as representative and Board of Directors alternate member in JEDEC for both Infineon and Texas Instruments. Maurizio holds an MSEE degree from University of Trieste, Italy, is a published author of scientific articles and is the inventor in several patents.

Dr. Dipl.-Ing. Detlef Houdeau works at INFINEON TECHOLOGIES AG in the Connected Security Solution department in Neubiberg near Munich. Diploma at TU-Berlin 1985. Doctoral thesis at SIEMENS 1993 in the field of semiconductor processes. More than 200 publications. Today member of BDI, BITKOM, ZVEI, Platform Industry 4.0, Platform learning systems, EUROSMART and Charter of Trust.

Sophie Vandenbossche is Senior Manager Application Management for Identity Solutions in the Middle East and Africa region at Infineon. She is responsible for business development and go-to-market strategy for government identity and travel document projects. She has over 20 years of experience in various sales and marketing positions in the smart card industry.

Benjamin Drisch received his Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Dortmund. He has been Senior Security Consultant at cryptovision since 2002 and has led several large ID and company card projects during this time. Since 2008 he is responsible as a product manager for cryptovision’s Java-Card-based eID solution „ePasslet Suite“. Since 2018, he has also been responsible for products related to cryptovision’s hardware-based Cryptographic Service Provider (CSP), currently with a focus on the area of fiscalisation.

Lutz Richter, Dipl. Ing (FH) for Engineering and Automation, is Head of Information Systems at Mühlbauer ID Services GmbH.  After completing his studies at the University of Applied Science for Technology and Economics in Dresden, he has been with the company for 20 years now. During his long and ongoing career in the industry, he worked amongst others as Senior Solution Architect and Analyst for Identification Management Systems. He is responsible for the development of Identification Management Systems, e-Government and Entry-Exit-Systems.

Sigurd Reiss is the Key Account Manager & Business Development – ID & Government / Digital Solutions for AUSTRIACARD. His current responsibilities include eID projects, eGovernment and related applications as well as ICAO projects/ MRTD projects. He is also responsible for the management of EMV banking projects and non- banking smartcard projects and convergence cards 
Sigurd also specialises in the management of digital payment solutions such as eWallets (MDES, VTS).

Frank Sandeløv is the CEO of CardLab and holds significant business and cultural experience from multiple industry roles in CardLab, the military sector and the airline industry. Frank served 11 years as an Army officer, pilot and NATO liaison officer followed by 25 years as commercial airline pilot, 15 years as Captain and several years as Airline representative in EU SESAR workgroup on the future or air traffic structure, especially airside/landside security aspects. Frank represented CardLab as IATA strategic partner as a biometric industry expert in the IATA ONE ID workgroup, helping build secure and convenient passenger processing processes.
