Precise has entered into a partnership with Innovatrics, one of the leading biometric solutions providers in the world. Innovatrics will be the provider of face recognition technology to Precises products in the Digital Identity business area. The collaboration supports Precise ambition to deliver world-leading biometric identification software that makes people’s everyday lives easier.
“We are pleased that we have entered into a collaboration agreement with Innovatrics, leading the way in the industry by system development of multimodality biometrics. I’m confident that the collaboration will boost both companies’ innovation capacity and that we will be able to leverage from each other’s network, hence, strengthening our position in Europe”, said Precise CEO Stefan K. Persson.
The partnership has been designed to initially bring together Precise product Precise YOUNiQ for facility access with Innovatrics passive face recognition technology, the second biometric modality after fingerprint recognition to be included in the identification software of Precise YOUNiQ. According to the agreement, Innovatrics is entitled to a license fee per user and year.
