Streamlines Integration and Extends Functionality of Asure ID Card Personalization Software for Desktop Card ID Printer Solutions
HID Global, trusted leader in solutions for the delivery of secure identity, today announced the release of its Asure ID® Software Development Kit (SDK) that enables more powerful card personalization software for FARGO® and all major desktop card ID printers. As part of the company’s Asure ID card personalization solutions used by organizations to design, manage, print and encode identification cards, Asure ID SDK is a set of modules and tools for third-party developers to incorporate Asure ID card personalization features into their own credential management systems.
Asure ID SDK enables developers to streamline the entire card personalization process by fully integrating technology card programming and card design templates into credential management systems, allowing end users to leverage one software interface to design, encode and print ID cards. Asure ID SDK also simplifies the card personalization integration into access control and other applications through Asure ID SDK tools and its application programming interface (API) commands.
“By making it possible for developers to easily integrate technology card encoding such as iCLASS® smart card programming using aFARGO printer for on-site, customized numbering and increased card security, Asure ID SDK offers highly valuable and unique resources to the large number of integrators seeking this functionality,” said Nils Wahlander, product marketing manager with HID Global. “In addition to the features that simplify development, Asure SDK resources ultimately empower end users to easily create, manage and print professional quality photo identification cards.
